Ambasada e SHBA falënderon Policinë e Shtetit dhe Prokurorinë e Tiranës dhe i përgëzon për bashkëpunimin me Njësinë e Hetimit Kriminal Ndërkombëtar të Shërbimit Diplomatik të Sigurisë. Njësia e Hetimeve Kriminale Ndërkombëtare dhe Departamenti i Hetimeve Kriminale të Policisë së Shtetit kanë një njësi të posaçme që kryen hetime të përbashkëta. Një hetim gjashtë-mujor nga kjo njësi speciale kulmoi me arrestimin e djeshëm të një individi që mashtronte duke paraqitur programe si të lidhura me ambasadën dhe prodhonte dokumente që mbanin vulat dhe emrat e zyrtarëve të ambasadës. Ambasada falënderon Drejtorin e Përgjithshëm të Policisë së Shtetit Muhamet Rrumbullaku, Drejtorin e Policisë Kriminale Neritan Nallbati, kreun e Prokurorisë së Tiranës Arenc Çela, prokuroren e çështjes Eloida Goxhi dhe oficerët e përkushtuar të Policisë së Shtetit për ndihmën e dhënë për këtë çështje.
The U.S. Embassy thanks the Albanian State Police and the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office and commends them for their cooperation with the Diplomatic Security Service Overseas Criminal Investigation Unit. The Embassy’s Overseas Criminal Investigations Unit and the Albanian State Police Department of Criminal Investigations have a special unit which jointly conducts investigations. A six-month investigation by this special unit culminated in yesterday’s arrest of an individual who had fraudulently represented programs as being connected to the Embassy and produced documents bearing the seals and names of officials at the Embassy. The Embassy thanks General Director Muhamet Rrumbullaku, Director of Criminal Police Neritan Nallbati, Chief of the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office Arenc Cela, Case Prosecutor Eloida Goxhi, and the dedicated officers of the Albanian State Police for their assistance with this case.
